Attorney Stacey McDaniel worked in the nursing field in Metro-Cleveland prior to graduating from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a concentration in Litigation. She participated in various moot court competitions while in law school and was the President of the student chapter of the Women’s Law Association. She clerked for various law firms while attending law school, including Lakeshore Legal Aid where she represented clients in paternity, divorce and child custody proceedings pursuant to MCR 8.120. Stacey passed the Michigan bar exam in 2013.
Her caseload has encompassed a variety of areas of law including civil rights law, general negligence and premises liability, first and third party automobile litigation, medical malpractice, birth trauma, nursing home negligence, indemnification and contractual liability, and insurance coverage.
Stacey is licensed to practice law in the Eastern District Federal Court and has tried cases throughout the state of Michigan as first chair counsel. She has extensive experience in Alternate Dispute Resolution.
Stacey is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Negligence section and also belongs to the Macomb County Bar Association and the Association of Defense Trial Counsel. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing Yogi and Pilates and travelling throughout the Caribbean.
